Retirement is the sought after goal. Work long hours, save your money and repeat week after week, year after year. Finally the time comes when all that time and effort pay off and you can relax into your “golden years”. But sometimes the retirement years can be less than rewarding and often time just plan slow and boring. Yes there is more time to spend on the things you enjoy but there is also just more time. That in between time can be difficult to manage. I work out a lot, read a lot and try and spend a great deal of time outdoors but sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate and I’m stuck just watching the day waste away. I’m not sure how to spend these “extra hours” but I feel like I should be doing something more productive. What that is I’m not sure of but I think I should explore my options. I never expected to struggle with boredom but here it is and I need to fill the in-between time with productive efforts in order to quash the clock watching. What shall it be?
